O’Donnell is recognized by opposing counsel and her peers as a dogged advocate on   behalf of her clients. Ms. O’Donnell provides aggressive representation   in every case she litigates and has focused her practice on employment   and civil rights defense. Ms. O’Donnell has been recognized by her peers   as a Southern California “Rising Star in 2007, 2008, 2009. She is   internationally published, has been an Adjunct law professor for almost 8   years and was a visiting professor at Oxford University in London. Ms.   O’Donnell has been involved in the defense of over a hundred employment   and police civil liability matters against the LAPD and prior to   beginning her legal career, Ms. O’Donnell was a sworn member of the LAPD   for over a decade and held positions as a Sergeant/Detective Supervisor   in narcotics, environmental crimes, and various patrol divisions. Currently, Ms. O’Donnell is recognized as one of a few experts in the recently passed Firefighters Procedural Bill of Rights (FBOR) and is of   counsel to the Los Angeles County Fire Department on FBOR related matters.
