Steven H. Taylor is an associate with McCune & Harber.  Prior to joining McCune & Harber, Mr. Taylor’s practice has primarily consisted of defending public and private entities in civil employment-related claims from the initial pleading stage through trial.  His background includes the defense of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract and labor code violation claims.  Mr. Taylor also has considerable experience counseling employers on wage and hour issues, employee discipline matters, employee classification, reasonable accommodation issues and numerous legal compliance matters.   Mr. Taylor has also conducted internal employment-related investigations for public and private entity employers.  Since joining McCune & Harber, Mr. Taylor has focused extensively on private and public entity liability including labor and employment litigation in both state and federal courts.  In addition to public entity representation, Mr. Taylor’s practice also involves premises liability, student supervision and molestation matters.

  • Successfully obtained dismissals through demurrers and Motions for Summary Judgment on behalf of public and private entity clients on employment-related claims in matters involving wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination and retaliation
