Antony R. Pizarro is as Partner in McCune & Harber’s Employment Department.
With more than a decade of experience, Mr. Pizarro defends public and private employers in all areas of employment law. His practice spans claims under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the California Labor Code.
An accomplished trial lawyer, Mr. Pizarro has secured significant victories for his clients, including:
• Defense verdict in a high-stakes employment trial where the plaintiff alleged discrimination and retaliation and sought $23 million in damages.
• Verdict in a complex business dispute, obtaining a multi-million dollar judgment in a case involving breach of fiduciary duties and theft.
Known for his strategic approach, Mr. Pizarro develops defense strategies that narrow issues early, limit exposure, and position matters for favorable resolution. He also counsels employers on workplace issues ranging from discipline and accommodation to wage-and-hour compliance and investigations.
