Edward Y. Chau is an associate at McCune & Harber. He is focused on public entity defense. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chau worked in the fields of civil defense and corporate maintenance, with exposure to small business, personal injury, medical compliance and real estate matters in the greater Los Angeles area.
During his time at McCune & Harber, he has represented public entities with an emphasis on auto liability, general negligence, as well as sensitive issues concerning public schools. He has taken and defended a multitude of depositions, been involved in intense and voluminous discovery, and prepared cases for trial. Mr. Chau has also resolved cases through negotiation of settlement terms including several in which five or six figure claims for damages were released in their entirety. During his time with the firm he takes the most pride in his growth in taking depositions, especially those of adverse parties.
