Labor &
Employment

Our Employment Team represents public and private employers in the full spectrum of employment litigation, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblower complaints under FEHA, Title VII, ADA, CFRA/FMLA, and Labor Code § 1102.5. We also have substantial experience defending wage and hour disputes, class actions, and PAGA claims involving misclassification, overtime, and meal and rest breaks. Our attorneys handle matters from pre-litigation through dispositive motions, trial, and appeal.

In addition to our litigation work, we provide full-service employment counseling, from day-to-day HR guidance to strategic advice aimed at avoiding litigation. Our services include reviewing and updating policies, drafting employee handbooks, and ensuring compliance with current laws.

We advise on hiring, discipline, termination, disability accommodations, promotions, compensation, harassment, substance abuse, wage and hour compliance, employee classification, and meal and rest break requirements. We also routinely guide clients through complex leave policies—helping interpret, revise, and implement them to ensure both legal compliance and practical application in the workplace.

Because we regularly defend employers in litigation, we’ve seen firsthand what leads to lawsuits and where the biggest risks lie. We use that experience to help clients stay ahead of problems, make informed decisions, and reduce exposure before issues escalate.
