Mari-Elizabeth L. Sanford is an associate at McCune & Harber. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sanford worked as a plaintiffs’ attorney where she practiced personal injury litigation involving premises liability, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, and general negligence. At McCune & Harber, Ms. Sanford focuses on defending employment litigation matters on behalf of public and private sector clients.


Ms. Sanford is a native of Memphis, Tennessee, and she graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law with Honors. During law school, she participated in several student organizations and also worked in the Child Advocacy Clinic as a student attorney where she was recognized as the most outstanding student in the program. She also served as a law clerk for the Georgia Attorney General’s Office and the Shelby County Attorney’s Office in Memphis, Tennessee. In her spare time, she volunteers with local groups to support important community issues such as the problem of poverty and homelessness. Ms. Sanford’s goals are to continue to develop her career in the field of law and to continue to support community issues and causes.
