Matthew William Dietz is an Associate at McCune & Harber. Mr. Dietz focuses his practice on general liability, public entity and employment litigation. Mr. Dietz began his career representing plaintiffs in wrongful death, employment and personal injury matters before moving to defense work. Since then Mr. Dietz has practiced with two ABA 100 law firms, representing corporate clients in employment, insurance bad faith, ERISA and business litigation in both state and federal court. Mr. Dietz also has significant experience representing employers in wage and hour class action cases as well as claims made under the California Private Attorneys General Act.

 

Mr. Dietz received his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations in 2007. During his collegiate tenure, Mr. Dietz interned at the United Nations’ International Labor Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. Mr. Dietz then attended Washington University in St. Louis’s School of Law on a full, merit-based scholarship, graduating in 2010. Immediately following his law school graduation, Mr. Dietz worked as a full time extern for The Honorable S. James Otero of the United States District Court.
